I wonder how the world views us

If Boris is foooked , we are finnished , the panic that will ensue will be beyond belief no fooker
will leave the house .....

i wonder how each country with the virus is being reported about to another country . i have a relative in rural france who is surprised ive still got access to loads of booze and food . think they must just get the empty shop shelves photos .

I don't think they care at the moment...they have enough problems of their own with this virus

Nothing like this has happened in my lifetime

In fact nothing like this has happened since the Bubonic Plague....

It is on a par with a wartime situation....in fact we are at war with Covid-19

Of course mistakes will be made

Would Corbyn have done any better?....any way we must unite behind Boris Johnson, we have no choice

This is how it is,most countries in the world are on a trajectory driven by the WHO.
The UK and the United States of America are on a trajectory driven by the scientists of the world.
Nobody knows who is correct and everyone is waiting to see what the virus does next.
the WHO said test,test,test,and find out how the virus is spreading ,while the USA and UK are saying battle down the hatches and ride it out.

The point was..our head of government his chief advisor and the chief medical guy were all out of action...

They were all working from home until Boris went to hospital.
The same thing is happening all over the world or are you saying different?

It's not a competition ffs kenny.
All it took was for one of them to get the virus and pass it on before it became evident they had it.

Spanish flu followed WW1 and killed a lot of people, but has always been overshadowed by WW1 itself

Asian Flu was classed as a Category 2 Pandemic, also came China, killed a million Worlwide

Hong Kong Flu somewhat similar, again from China

Neither of these seem to have resulted in the measures we seem to be having for this one....nobody allowed out, etc

All Flu Epidemics seem lethal. Spanish Flu originated in Spain as name originated

We have had three major flu epidemics originated in China

1957 1968 and 2019

So perhaps this is business as usual.

It seems flu strains jumping from animals to humans?????
