Appointed 300 more gards most of whom were looking forward to the Easter break from school.
Why aint gards being laid off ?

No need for community cops

An Garda Síochána, thugs in uniform since 1923. When I was growing up in dublin the kids all feared being 'lifted' for little reason and taken to Kevin Street for a good hiding, luckly never happened to me.
I was incarcerated round the corner for a couple years in the Adelaide Hospital, and they didn't beat (marmalise) me up.

I watched a multi part documentary on Charles Haughey recently on YouTube....f*ck me, he was a rascal and a half.
I'm on Ireland too,think I read the other week that they haven't completed training yet,just pushed through.Should fit in well so.
