Leader , A lot of shouting and roaring about this Virus , we wont be hearing too much about this child being slaughtered ..

There are no words for what She or her parents have suffered , and as a break to the Virus Business , this should headline tomorrow

As why self distancing with your children in a public place may be a good idea going forward .....

Yep there needs to be plenty of noise made by the public to get this story out there and onto the front pages of every newspaper

THE heartbroken parents of a seven-year-old girl who was fatally stabbed in a popular park described their daughter as the "light of our lives" in an emotional tribute to their only child.

Emily Jones died on Sunday after being attacked by a woman with a knife.

Her family and emergency services, who were called at around 2.30pm, fought hard to save her.

Emily had been in the park with the family on Mother's Day when she was attacked by a stranger.

Her parents said: “Emily was 7-years-old, our only child and the light of our lives.

“She was always full of joy, love and laughter.

“Emily had such a cheeky smile and was beautiful inside and out. She had a heart as big as her smile.

“Emily was never happier than when she was spending time with her family and friends, she was our own little social butterfly.

“Emily had a passion for the outdoors and loved to play any sport, even when she was wearing her pink sparkly dresses!!

“We are beyond devastated that this random act of violence means that we will never get to see our beautiful little girl grow up into the wonderful young lady she was showing such promise of becoming.

“It is truly heart breaking to wake up to a world without Emily in it and we cannot comprehend why this has happened.

“We would like to thank the members of the public that assisted us in the park and express our gratitude to the emergency services for doing their upmost to save Emily’s life. “Thank you to everyone for their kind messages of support and for continuing to respect our privacy at this difficult time.”

The 30-year-old woman arrested at the scene on suspicion of murder was assessed by specialist medical staff and detained under the Mental Health Act. She remains in a highly secure facility.

I found it astounding that when this poor little girl was butchered to death it never even made the national TV news,unbelievable really a 7yr old girl playing in a public park in the middle of the day with many members of the public present as well as her parents and butchered by a stranger in front of there eyes and it never even made the BBC main news that night, as a Boltonian i was curious as to how this can be as you can be rest assured if this had happened in London undoubtedly it would have made the national news.

Is the identity of the killer confirmed?

The tipping point should have come years ago. Why the cold inertia and ambivalence to these killings? The media colluding as per normal.

If a white far right maniac had done this to a black/Brown/yellow child im certain the BBC Would  have been all over it.

Three men who raped a 16-year-old schoolgirl after she was held against her will have been jailed for a combined total of 45 years.

Roberto French, 22 (26.11.97) of Gordon Road, Enfield; Abdisalam Mohamad, 21 (24.06.98) of College Gardens, N18; and, Hilal Mohamed, 22 (02.02.98) of Warwick Road, N18, were found guilty of raping the teenager following the conclusion of a trial on Thursday, 6 February at Wood Green Crown Court.

The jury further convicted French of the offences of robbery and false imprisonment against the same victim.

French was sentenced to 17 years for rape, five years for robbery and 10 for false imprisonment, to run concurrently.

Abdisalam Mohamad and Hilal Mohamed were both sentenced to 14 years each.

All three were sentenced at Wood Green Crown Court on Friday, 3 April.

The court heard how the victim had travelled to London from Bristol on 13 August 2016 where French held a machete against her throat whilst he robbed her in the presence of the other defendants.

Stewart Rise, I truly understand and good God, how horrific and a position nobody should ever be in, but truthfully could you hack another to death? I know I couldn't. Iam not suggesting justice should not be served but surely not by "hacking". What type of society do you want us to live in?

I'd not either and neither would I spare the life of the assailant or murderer, mental health or anti-UK politic either. The life of the assailant/murderer is not worth or for saving or reprieved; killing an innocent young child is unforgivable.

The killing off any human is unforgivable impossible but could you really "hack" another to death?

A man has killed two people and injured seven others, four of them seriously, in a knife attack in a town in south-east France.

The man was arrested by police at around 11am after attacking customers in a shop and passersby at Romans-sur-Isere in the Drome, 20km north of Valence.

Witnesses said the man first attacked the owner of a tobacconist and two customers inside the shop in the town centre. He then walked out and began stabbing people in the street. One of the dead was inside the tobacconists; a second man, a butcher from a nearby shop, was killed outside.

Police told French media the arrested man was a 33-year-old asylum seeker from Sudan. Anti-terrorist investigators had been advised and were said to be “evaluating the situation” before getting involved.

As far as i am aware the name of the 30 year old woman responsible for this vile killing in my home town has not been revealed and i understand that she is held in a high secure mental health unit,in my lifetime there has been a large Asian community in the town but in the last 10 years there has been a massive influx of Eastern Europeans and a number of asylum seekers disproportionate to the rest of the country as the local council agreed a deal with the government to take on the larger number of asylum seekers but this number i am led to believe is still only quite small compared with the numbers of others mostly Eastern Europeans,out of a current population of 285,000 in the Bolton area there are still enough fruitcakes from the indigenous population capable of this crime.

I wonder how the thing that killed 3 children in a Garden  in Scotland back in the 70s is doing who has been re integrated  into society ?..the bleeding hearts done a fine job getting that released ... Lets hope we hear no more of him ...

About 40 years ago I was sharing a big house in Holland Park London which was offering free accommodation to anyone eg any local who'd fallen on hard time and oversea person here for political asylum or discrimination against for being gay and AIDS infected for a short period of time until more permanent accommodation was found. 

We'd this person and his young son from the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) - no mum. His story was persistent harassment/persecution because he was anti-Mobuto, the then despot/dictator. But, very reluctant to expand, and even his young son of about 10 years old was told by him not to say too much (to us) even after they'd been in the house for a couple of months. But, I'd my suspicions.

He was extremely reserved eg reluctant to talk about events in DRC or friendly questions; spoke only in French; not always fully appreciative on the hospitality the house or country were accorded to him eg occasional criticism of assistance (lack of money); selective in food offered; etc.

I asked (being inquisitive like I'd do here) why he did not go to France as the DRC being/had been a former French colony? He chose not to answer. Also, he did not have hands that showed signs of hardship or had undertaken hard work something I'd expect to see if in opposition to Mobutu; his hands were smooth and not lined as one would expect from most citizens of Africa then.

I believe he belonged not to the opposition but then government of Mobuto and DRC who were under-the-cosh, and about to be ousted. I think he was running away just prior to the collapse of Mobutu government. Soon after he was re-housed.
