Of course politicians should be role models in parts of live, but is the UK population that immature to be so heavily influenced by this particular event? You've got politicians from all over not adhering to the rules.

In the US you have the entire gang still standing shoulder to shoulder, using the same podiums, microphones etc.
In the UK you had leading politicians shaking hands with everyone in a hospital, boasting about it, and I think distance at podiums wasn't 2m either (though could be wrong on this)
In the Netherlands you had Mark Rutte hold a press conference telling everyone that there must absolutely not be any hand shaking anymore...only for him to shake the hand of his podium partner. Upon being told what he just did, he laughs and touches the other person yet more closely in a bizarre turn of events.

I mean...would people really go like "Oh, Mark Rutte shook hands. Now I will!"

But the point here is ..... We have all been told that funerals are restricted to a maximum of 6 people. Weddings etc have been cancelled.
This guy turns up at someone's funeral and there are about 100 people there.

As an MP he should not have attended. If he had not attended, we would never have heard anything about this particular funeral.
