Twenty years ago i'd accrued somewhere in the region of 200kg+ of plates but with the advent of cheap gym access I gave most of it away keeping a relatively modest 70kg plus a couple of kettlebells ... you know just in case. Glad I did as even without a bench I can cobble some kind of full body workout together a couple of times a week. Unsurprisingly the resale value of weight plates has gone through the roof, saw two 10kg plates sell for £156 (+£14.99 p+p) on ebay earlier this afternoon.

Any lapsed lifters out there, now is the time dig that goldmine out of the garage!

I lift at home.  I last went to the gym about 15 years ago.  A few weights, Youtube and a focus on what you're eating is all you need.
