Feel REALLY sorry for all these businesses, apparently often family ones, that have produced all their plants for spring and now look to be going bust as nobody can sell them.

Whenever I've been in a garden centre they aren't that busy and people don't go often, people go like once/twice a year?
People are now locked in their homes (and gardens) bored out of their tits and the gardening types probably getting particularly fed up they can't do anything.

Surely they could do something to allow these centres some limited opening, stop all these people going bust, allow a bit of happiness and gardening exercise, and stop 100s of millions of plants rotting away?? Maybe in a couple of weeks time?

It's not like we're trying to stop all transmission it's just to flatten the transmission rate. Picking up a couple dozen plant plugs and a bag of fertiliser once is not the same as drunkenly shouting in someones ear in a crowded pub..

Fish and chip shops and takeaways can open. The Government should be allowing garden centres to open instead of being so inflexible. Get the pubs open even if only with table service.

I ordered a takeaway last night. Chinese bloke came up the drive and I went to meet him.
He looked scared and shouted 'isolate, isolate'.
I said 'you're not that late, I only ordered twenty minutes ago'.

WTF is going wrong with all these chinese delivery problems?

I had one yesterday and he totally overcharged me.

I said "this maths is TOTALLY wrong" and he replied "Ahh but you ask for Dim-Sum?"
