Quite the contrary potlis, the reduction in air pollution will not go unnoticed.

It will be used to demonstrate that mankind can take actions that quickly and significantly make a positive impact on the environment, with all of the benefits that this brings.

If this shows that tens of thousands of deaths are caused by driving petrol cars in cities then I doubt it will go unnoticed.
Maybe we will see the ban on petrol/diesel cars brought forward- currently 2035.

Yep Holland have locked down to an extent and it is one of the most densely populated contries in the world and most densely populated in the EU. Sweden will do the same if and when needed. Sweden isn't very densely populated and wouldn't be a travel hotspot in winter when it can get to -30. Belarus got 70% of the radiation from Chernobyl and 25% of the country was an exclusion zone which only opened up to tourists last April. A bit silly to compare all countries as if they have the same factors affecting them.

Yep,  no doubt the Governments health advisers/ scientist have been taken completely by suprise, never realised that shutting down the economy would improve air quality to such an extent that Thousands of lives could be saved, obviously such drastic action would have been called for earlier if they'd known.
No doubt it won't go "unnoticed" and action demanded, demands that will be inquired into for a few years and then forgotten, anyone offering odds?

Many firms will take the opportunity to re-evaluate how and where their employees perform their duties.
This could well result in a dramatic increase in working from home and a reduction in the need to travel, either domestically or internationally.

There are cases of firms who had embraced the working from home concept only to reverse it much of it.
As always, fining the optimum balance is never straight forward.
