Anyone hear Evan Davis sort the cop out on bbc radio last night, drew him in politely asking about the drone use and the way cops were interpritating the new powers granted. Was poetic as the cop quickly dug a hole for himself saying they had used anpr cameras via drones and had concluded how far the drivers had driven to exercise. Cop was thanked and quickly cut off and Evan says, we contacted the gov ourselves and this is not what was intended by these powers. Classic stuff, cop sounded like a right jobs worth reveling in the power grab. Best reporting I have ever heard.

Ashley people do have the right to drive where they want to fir exercise as long as they are social distancing. The Police hav3 been exceeding their powers already in Derbyshire. What is wrong with going to the country to get some fresh air?

I witnessed the heavy handed approach by Indian police last year when I observed two young guys on a moped being hit with what looked like bamboo sticks then kicked until they fell off into the road. Their crime was failing to clear out of the way fast enough when a senior officers car was passing.
