Greta Thunberg believes she had coronavirus
Teenage climate activist Greta Thunberg has said it was “extremely likely” that she fell ill with coronavirus but has now recovered.
The 17-year-old said she felt “tired, had shivers, a sore throat and coughed” after returning from a trip in Europe, so self-isolated for two weeks.

I had a sore throat just before xmas and felt tired for a couple of weeks....when are these antibody test kit available?

I saw the other day it is possibly 23 million in the UK
Report Emitdeb • March 24, 2020 10:28 PM GMT
Very unlikely you had it before christmas... If you had those symptoms now, it would be virtually certain you do.

I had a sore throat and what felt like a head cold. Passed directly to my mother (illnesses overlapped)
Not added to the stats.

"The Royal Society of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine the other day estimated the number of people in Britain who already have or have had Covid-19 at between 6,000 and 23 million. That is a pretty broad spread with hugely different implications. If only 6,000 have the disease in Britain, socially-distancing the population or locking down society might have a purpose. If 23 million have the disease, it is pointless – it already has ripped its way through the population but without killing more than a tiny percentage."

Well it depends how accurate the consensus narrative is. Officially, patient zero was in Wuhan about November 19th and it didn't spread beyond China until late January. But if the true mortality rate is very low then perhaps it was widespread before the end of last year, perhaps with serious cases amongst elderly being mistaken for regular flu.

I'm betting it's closer to 23 million. I'm also betting this illness is a slow burner for most.. Sad
Report duffy • March 24, 2020 11:12 PM GMT
If 23 million is accurate we should all be celebrating (relatively speaking)Plain

The Government has 3.5 million antibody tests now they just said

My mate was sick as a dog at work in late December, I also had really bad headaches and aching limbs just after his bout but i dont think i had it as it didnt affect my breathing or had any chest pains.

Study by Oxford University in the FT reckons half the population already had it! They're going to start doing antibody tests to collect necessary evidence. If that's the case, then surely this is a game changer.

game changer  - do you mean the footy season will start again soon cos I need it!!!

23 million Laugh

load of rot

i would say  max 1 million but that figure in itself would be laughed at who claim 80,000 is the true number

Iceland the country  has done quite a few tests and uncovered a large number of positive cases ..theyve now run out of testing gear

can i think of a number now?
Report Injera • March 25, 2020 6:57 AM GMT
Wouldnt be a surprise if millions have had it.

Every year the flu jab is given to over a million people. Possibly 5m. Why? Because a new strain is here every year and there’s a likelihood many will contract it.

As others have said, if millions have had the virus it lowers the mortality rate, for now, which is good news.

At the end of last year two of my closest friends were really ill with a bug, as was my sister and daughter... and a few others I knew besides. I was fine, throughout, not even a sniff that I recall, but I will admit that so many people around me coming down with it ALL AT THE SAME TIME did raise an eyebrow. Since then I have read and watched so many people say they too had a bug at the end of last year - including David Icke! - perhaps there is some truth in it.

and yes… I could be asymptomatic, but I certainly wouldn't bet on that
Report Johnny_Mustang • March 25, 2020 8:37 AM GMT
Fine thanks Aspro, how's everything going with you? Hope you're keeping well. Went for a 5K run earlier which blew away the cobwebs.

prob over 80,000 tests now..virtually all to those with proper symptons with most in actual hospital...and 8000 convirmed...so 90% negative..so anyone at home who thinks they have had it almost certainly haven't.....Greta Bedwetter probably feeling sorry for herself with so little attention now on her...she will be alright because being a brainwashed retard is not an underlying condition.

Boiler has packed up, I had emergency dentist treatment a few days ago that only numbed the pain but it did help. My pension is down £32k and with COPD I am being told to self-isolate for 12 weeks!

Otherwise I'm fine JM Grin

To be fair JM I'm in pretty good spirits; not overly concerned, but not stupid enough to ignore it either.
