Local health officials said said 42% of the county’s coronavirus patients are between 18 and 40 years old and 39% are between 41 and 65 years old.

The link is a bit misleading, in one paragraph it says the patient died From Corona virus, then in the next it says it has not been revealed whether the person had underlying health condition which could then mean the person died with it instead of from

I'd imagine Los Angeles has a younger population than most places, and it's a very vain city at that given the industry there, many young people will be voluntarily going in for testing hence more patients and probably all with no health issues will soon be ok.

Nothing misleading at all. Two statements of fact.
Then a number of lazy assumptions from you,

A child under 18 has died from the coronavirus in California, Los Angeles County health officials announced Tuesday.
“Tragically, one of the people who died was a person under the age of 18, a devastating reminder that COVID-19 infects people of all ages,” Dr. Barbara Ferrer, director of the County of Los Angeles Public Health Department, said at a news briefing.

The patient was from Lancaster, California, the county’s health department said in a press release. Ferrer did not provide more details such as the precise age of the patient or whether they had underlying health conditions. Representatives from the health department weren’t immediately available for further comment.

it says it there, it's not clear at all and it's contradictory, because in the first paragraph it says she died from the virus then went on to say in the next that it hasn't been revealed if they had underlying health issues which if true, as vast majority of cases, puts a completely different complexation on it, the LA figures are well out of sync with age demographics around the world of those who have tested positive so it's not lazy just stating the obvious.

Died from COVID-19.
May or may not have had underlying health conditions, but no clarity provided.

As I said, two statements of fact.

If he hadn’t contracted COVID-19, is it more or less likely that he would still be alive?
Report darren_discombobulates_sports March 24, 2020 11:07 PM GMT
You cannot say somebody died FROM something when you don't know if they had other health conditions that the person may have indeed died from so it's obviously misleading. You are basically guessing until it's known for sure.

A press release is made by the doctor responsible for the county that states that an 18 year old died as a result of contracting COVID-19.
That’s good enough for me.

The fact it was not revealed if the patient had underlying health issues leaves it open that it was with and not necessarily from, there could be reasons why it was said it was from, given it came from a health professional who wants as many people as possible to take the virus seriously so as not have so many patients walking in and overburdening them with symptoms when it could be symptoms of anything.
Report darren_discombobulates_sports March 24, 2020 11:56 PM GMT
The main point being - is that still the vast majority of deaths are people who have underlying health issues and/or the elderly, I don't think it's worth panicking people when you find isolated cases of the young, as it transpires this patient may have had bronchitis ?
