McDonalds closing all their stores nationwide as of 7pm (?) tonight counteracts all that.

Irishone channelling his inner WB **** in that opening post.
Do you have a title yet? "Third Coming" perhaps? |

Bloody hell. '****' is embargoed.
Can't work that one out at all. |

Hospitals unlikely to be able to cope
Shortage of lifting equipment? My mate's mother was a state registered nurse, she'd got a ruined back caused by moving overweight people around. People who eat themselves into ill health, ought to be made to eat themselves back to normal before they're treated. |

Seen many tv shows about obese people being prisoners in their own home.
1. Who feeds them at home? 2. If they get takeaways delivered then how do they earn enough to pay for them? Thanks. |

Very often a facilitator in those situations.
Not sure myself that there will be an obesity epidemic. The fast food places will close soon and it will be back to the old days of cooking at home. |

If the facilitator is a carer then are surely not doing their job in trying to get them to lose weight, assuming the target is for them to lose weight of course. If its a family member then maybe a bit of tough love would help. |

Parents or spouses are often the facilitators.
Both are often fatties themselves. I can't think of much that sickens me more than a fat parent stuffing a sausage roll into the mouth of a fat child. If parents are ill-disciplined and inconsistent themselves, there is little chance they will be able to give tough love. |

True again, the kids have no hope or not given any hope by the parents.

I know two elderly couples where one depends on the other to look after them.
Both sick partners are obese which shows how selfish they are. |
