"It is very important for people's mental and physical wellbeing that they should be able to get out and exercise," he says, adding not everyone has a private open space. "That is why parks and open spaces are absolutely crucial."
He says that - despite this - people must follow social distancing advice otherwise "there is no doubt" that the government will bring forward further measures.

Pity the government didn't listen to medical advice in the past . Experts guaranteed that there would be a pandemic in the future but there was nothing put in place to protect the country from an event such as this . Great minds should surely be proactive rather than reactive......maybe it was not seen as financially viable at the time ?

In Sussex there are 35 confirmed  cases out of 1.3m.

Let’s assume the 35 in hospital.

Not a strain on the NHS is it ?

Going for a walk up a hill if you aren't near people is hardly reckless.
Do you expect everyone to sit in darkened room for the next few months?

I agree standing around in a pub isn't clever though..

If people get no exercise firstly that will cause health problems directly itself, piss everyone off, and the fitter you are the better your immune system is and the better you'd be able to fight anything off! Exercise helps the immune system.

I'm off for a walk myself right now. Yea that's right, try and stop me, Blockleiter!!

Someone ask, what happens to people in the at risk group that currently work...where is their money going to come from, if they are one of those that don't get furloughed by their company but get a letter through the post, £94 a week isn't going to be any good to them and will force them to work.

None of these reporters have asked that obvious question yetCrazy

THE ONLY TRUE FIGURE IS THE DEAD , most of them will have been sick people , 1 % is bad enough if the True figure is 5 % , they need to lockdown NOW !! we would be looking at 3 million dead going forward ?
