I seem to see so many people sat in their cars, often with the engine running. Why?

In Ireland they are jockeys waiting for their next ride. I can only think that if couples or groups need to go to a town or a shop, one goes in and one stays in the car. Makes sense.

Not any more. They both go in - with separate trolleys and pretend they're not together.  Anyway, do what you do but don't keep the engine running! |
