now there is a strange one.The reason they told them not to fish was because there would be no market for the fish they catch.
on the other side of the coin there is panic buying all over the world.
and stranger still The Irish government are working to put a financial package together to compensate the fishermen.

restaurants closed ,massive business for delivery to homes of fast food all across Europe,and the most popular order is Fish and Chips ,and there is no market for it according to the Irish Government.

the fish caught were mostly mackeral ,main market was italy and spain, those markets are now wiped out, they wre told no point landing a catch that would most likely be no market for and would probably be dumped.
