Yep, the economy is going to need a boost in the new world, so let's bump off all those old biddies that are loaded so that their kids can inherit and start spending all their money.

Funny saddo. you don't seem to mind when certain posters make continuous numerous snide remarks about remainers, The EU, Muslims and anyone not right wing

I am not a Tim Martin fan but at least he has shown some Leadership.

His people need to work. Ok he is in it for the money but he knows what he is doing is vital for his personal finances and a side effect is his people get paid even if it is minimum wage. They benefit and we need to support our fellow workers.

But I have to say I don’t like Wetherspoon Pubs and would only go to one if we were on lockdown with the Army patrolling the streetsShocked

one poster started a thread where he said he hoped corbyn had it (he wanted him to become a statistic), the same poster went on a tread about barnier actually getting it and said he hoped barnier died.

I've only ever seen Martin on TV Whisperingdeath Joined: - probably as has the OP- he is always quietly spoken and polite, I have never seen a reason to dislike him, and the staff where I go seem to enjoy working there, I think I'm savvy enough to know if they were faking it.
I just don't read propaganda every day, so I am able to judge for myself. I wonder how many jobs the OP has created in his time.

He reckons that pubs are less crowded than supermarkets and is adamant that NO ONE has contracted COVID-19 in a pub Shocked

My “ dislike “ of him as such is that he appears to me as a lowest common denominator businessman, dont get me wrong he is smart and savvy. I just don’t like the end of the run beer and the low lives that frequent his pubs. Not that they are unpleasant in any way tbf to them.

I like old English traditional pubs and if I have to pay more for my beer so be it.

Good luck to him, his business and his punters

Supermarkets are a joke when it comes to avoiding infection.

It shows what a farce isolating is. I'm with Martin all the way.

The government have been very negligent here, it's making a mockery out the idea of keeping our distance.

I thought he was one of the 1st to say staff would not get paid if they phoned in to say they were self isolating.
By:
Whisperingdeath
When: 20 Mar 20 17:32
Is he paying staff who self isolate?

I would bet against it but if he does he is a top man!
