"you might have already had it but didn't know" Again isn't that convenient

"you are probably a carrier" I've lost it by this point

I mean you just ain't getting the full MO with any of this, isn't it convenient that all the symptoms match up with that of the common cold/flu? which are going around at this time of year? Doesn't anyone question a damn thing anymore?

Oh and people are starting to mow their lawns now, do getting a itchy type throat, or feeling like you have something on the throat is going to be high as well, not to mention runny nose and/or achey/itchy eyes, as in pollen season is almost here

No doubt these will be added into the symptoms as well, and people will ride along with that bs as well

"why don't they beef the numbers up, say there's millions dying" pretty obvious really, they'd be called out when none of us are going down with it

Keep the numbers suppressed and people stay in a state of numbness and keep their heads down hoping they don't "catch it", if they push out astronomical numbers like 40% of the world dying

They are having it off, and those figures are pathetic for a country with 1.4 billion people

China has to suppress the figures, it produces so much it can't afford that sort of negative sentiment.

25,000 on the 1st of Feb!! be hundreds of thousands by now.
Also this isn't a one hit wonder, it will keep hitting in phases.
I wouldn't go to hospital unless i was absolutely dying!

It's also in addition to the flu, that's why it will stretch the hospital's resources.
The NHS has been run poorly since it's inception, paying over the odds for everything, completely inefficient and not producing cash flows (until quite recently)

NHS budget is £139,000,000,000, might as well give everybody 2k per year and fend for themselves!

154,000 confirmed cases over 3 months? its the flu figures being passed of as some virus, I wont deny the death figure is high but there's ways around these figures

You need to remember China has 1.4 billion people, and their whole pollution issues makes it much worse

25,000 over 3 months is absolutely nothing for them, they probably have more people dying in cycling collisions

They are trying to sell death in numbers to keep people in a state of panic

Fact is we die, we get old and die, or we die before our time for whatever reason ie car crashes etc

S*** happens, its life and we'll all meet our maker its the only guarantee in life

Constantly having this rubbish thrown at us to keep us dumbed down and repressed is one of their little pass times

They are distorting the figures that way, younger healthier people with a cough are being told to stay in isolation

This is an attack on the old and its absolutely disgusting and inhumane

It's optics, no govt wants to let it spiral and then see gawping reporters taking pics of dead people on trolleys in hospitals.
People panic enough as it is, once you see that or police chucking people into the back of unmarked vans, then the panic will really kick in.

Even if 50 million die, it's not many in a population of 7 billion.
It's just the social and economic costs that will take a while to clean up
It has shown how easy it is to make people panic though!

It really is an attack on the old and remember we'll be over 50 one day, I'm 31 and not far of that now

When I was 18 I was quite a bas*ard to the old folk, use to say things like "let them die when they get passed 70"

Where did I get that from? I regret ever saying those things when I saw my grandad and grandma suffering in their final days, it opened my eyes and made appreciate the memories

6,600 flu related deaths in USA up to jan 11 this year for the season.

Which is a  low  death rate, flu season runs from Oct - may in USA,can be anywhere between 3k and 50k, of course the fugues in the grand scheme of things are meaningless as every death is not tested for flu, or many other things,lies damned lies and statistics.we need more a more informed approach to these kind of stats,like weather conditions, temps ect ect, and of course you can have such a wide variance of temps in the USA it would probably be better to use UK stats but again we don't test, just fire a body in a box and write some load of tripe on a death cert.,has anyone ever heard of flu being a cause of death?

Death will be a complication of the flu and somehow these stats will be produced but as to their meaningfulness... Its debatable imo,most deaths will be in people with "underlying health conditions"...although if someone dies within 14 days of seeing a doctor there is more paperwork involved and coroner is notified I think.

From a local newspaper:

''A man reported death with an underlying condition was found to be infected with  the virus.''

So what did he die of?
He's gone down as a victim of the virus.

That's how the figures are being compiled. The test isn't accurate because people without symptoms are testing positive.

I went to my local supermarket this morning and the car park was packed.

People weren't afraid to be packed together to do their panic shopping.

So they fear food shortages now more than going down with the virus?

That is the situation the media and the government have created.

This will be an ongoing thing... China coped with it best... We need to be more authoritarian, like China

The way we're heading, the virus will be the least of our problems soon.
