Teachers with underlying conditions have been self-isolating for the own protection despite not having the virus.
And many schools have already closed due to staff shortages. Schools never miss a chance to close down and take a break. |

hard surfaces, doors, door knobs etc etc listed as been high points of spread are their teams of scienctists etc going round taking random samples tp prove how much
its very confusing keep hearing sneeze in a hankie, into sleeve etc ,but then sneezing isn't a symptom ,so why would you be doing frequent, abnormal sneezing if sneezing isn't a main symptom, heard dr hilliary say today sore throats arnt a symptom, if normal colds, sneezes ,sore throats are a sign of a mild dose without the rasping cough ,millions could be spreading it unaware, |
By:
surely the 1st thing to rule out or in ,is you cant have the virus without a cough but as people have got it tested positive with no symptons at all, they cant
By:
Yes many of those who've got it don't know they've got it - that's how serious it is if you're healthy.
By:
^ The key word in your appraisal is ... "IF"
- ".....if normal colds, sneezes ,sore throats are a sign of a mild dose without the rasping cough ,millions could be spreading it unaware," - Because - 'If' - they have any of the above - WITHOUT - a fever or continual DRY cough ... - Then they have just got a usual winter COLD. |
By:
bigger danger = kids spreading it more at at school taking it home to parents
By:
how do you if theres 100,s with no symptons at all tested positive,
By:
You can have the virus with no symptoms at all but if you were someone to buckle from it then the symptoms you would display would be through a high temp or cough.
Again someone who has it but displays no symptoms will still have normal bodily functions i.e. a sneeze, so if someone who had it sneezed, they wouldn't be doing so as a consequence of the illness but they could still transmit it to someone who might then end up being brought down from it. |
By:
the science only stands up if everyone tested positive has a cough, which it clearly doesn't, so if you can have no symptons and test positive its foookking obvious you can have normal cold, flu symptons and test positive, or I,m thick as foooook and missing something
By:
Many have tested positive without any symptoms at all.
By:
and maybe you can have certain symptons for 1,2,3,4 days and the cough comes in last to some people
By:
The number of positive cases without any symptoms, brings the accuracy of the test into question.

When I was a kid I had chicken pox , measles , mumps and even pneumonia . Everyone whose died has been on their last legs or suffering from serious medical issues . Nine thousand deaths worldwide and in the same period forty thousand deaths from measles and three hundred thousand road deaths......

"my daughter has a fever and cough, so we're in self isolation for 14 days"
like are we seriously falling for this nonsense? We get colds at this time of year, people are ALWAYS coughing even in summer, people get fevers at least once a week and don't even know it ffs, the body is fighting invaders all the time, we go for a jog and our temp goes up People really do like to be lied to |

We’ve all had the start of a cold.flu that never comes to anything. That’s what seems to be happening here.
As for shutting schools, surely schools provide containment of people?? |

Classic BBC: In France, the number of confirmed cases grew by more than 16% on Tuesday, reaching 7,730, while the death toll rose to 175, with 7% of the dead aged under 65.
Trying to suggest 7% is high. 93% over 65. That stat is similar to pneumonia deaths. |

They are passing on flu stats almost This whole thing has been done now because we are the back end of flu season, so the numbers coming out are basically the flu numbers. |

I thought her question was stunningly stupid ;she was grandstanding by asking Boris how long the schools would be closed for. Even the cretins on this forum would realise that nobody could give a definitive answer.

I wouldn't be surprised to see my grandmas name come up on the news, she died of pneumonia in December and we had her funeral in Jan
They will try to use real names soon trust me, people are getting wise to the not named victims, so get ready because it might just be your granny or grandad who gets a mention |

Many have tested positive without any symptoms at all. Dr Crippen 18 Mar 20 18:11 The number of positive cases without any symptoms, brings the accuracy of the test into question. ------------- Have you any numbers, percentage, please? Hard to evaluate - When most tests are only being made on people showing symptoms |

They were doing random tests, but I don't believe they are now. But that actor in the news recently who tested positive wasn't showing any symptoms |
