Any of you guys use that and are they any good?
I'm hearing stories here in my locale of people struggling to buy essentials because of the panic buying.
I really don't fancy getting involved with all that stuff, it's so demeaning, I mean, fighting over bog-rolls for chris' sakes.

I've just been told that they're not taking new customers.

GoBal, food banks are going to be in real trouble real soon imo.

@ ericstar, if you know anyone that gets a shopping delivery, i am quite sure they will help you out with getting at least a few items if they can and are able to get them, i am doing it for a couple of people this week, smalltime, i am leaving the bag outside their door and they can sort me out if and when this is over.
Anyone else with an account should try and help out with family, friends, elderly if able and taking the utmost precautions.

Take what precautions you can, keep yourself physically away from others and try and use the self service checkout.

lapsy,
and all you others actually,

I know that this going to be way beyond your comprehension but I've lived in this house, in this street, for over thirty years and I don't know a soul. The neighbours can go straight to hull, without passing go/collect $200/whatever. Luckily my needs are small, I am physically fit, and I was able to get what I needed from my local Aldi's this morning. Job done.

I applaud what you're doing lapsy, keep it up and good luck to ya.

Thank you Ericstar, glad you got a few bits and good luck as well.

My brother has a shop in Ireland, he forwarded me a copy of measures that is going to be implemented, all very common sense and a large part taken up with social distancing, there is a lack of this in the UK to my knowledge and it is imperative that clear and precise information is badly needed.

Ericstar, ocado is groaning now anyway,it is at capacity, people will have to help people, randell.ie are an irish help organisation and they have volunteers that help,it is startning in the uk, there should be a local community response on anyone that needs it,it must be implemented.
