I bet that Muhammad run a tight ship.
I'd be surprised if he had any loyalty problems with his disciples. |

I rather think he did actually Crippen.
There were some Judas-worshippers at one time. He was probably the leader of a rival sect. The Life of Brian hit the nail on the head about the splits in Judaism at the time. |

I shall take no notice of a card-carrying commie denying the one true religion. If it were not for our Judas you would never have had Good Friday, or Easter eggs or pancake day for that matter.

The whole tenet of the Christian faith is based on Jesus suffering for our sins, dying, and then the Resurrection to prove there is life after death. In order for this to happen, Judas had to do his bit in handing Jesus to the authorities. If he instead protected Jesus then there would be no faith. Judas should have been admired as someone who had a difficult job to do but did it nonetheless.

Jesus grassed himself up yeah??? Being the rebel/subversive guy that he was...!!!

Jesus suffering for our sins...quite so. Talk about retrofitting a narrative turning the execution of a dissident into a triumph of propaganda, hats off to the Gospel writers and subsequent spin doctors. The martyr theme has been used time and time again ever since.
