186 Viewing Chit Chat?

...or is everyone now off work?

Not been these kind of viewing figures since someone put Nicola Roberts 3rd.

Went over 200 then suddenly dropped to around the 130's and then another drop to the 60's. Usually see 30-50 at most, never seen it in the 100's before. All the other forums appear usual. Either it's a blip or a lot of people have taken a sudden interest in this forum.

I could be wrong but the last time we had viewing figures such as that was when the excellent knockout quiz competitions were going on several years ago.

I'd imagine about 140 of them are lurking mental health experts and researchers reading the clueless deranged posts from the mentalist headcases on here (not all of you of course) making notes, shaking their head, and wondering if the UKs fight to contain the "delusional crackpot" virus is lost.

The strange thing JC is the numbers just appeared out of nowhere, floating between 170 to 200+ for around 30 minutes and then they disappeared in two chunks. I checked a few other forums that were showing usual numbers, but for some reason chit chat was popular. Very strange that so many viewers (that's if it wasn't a blip) all showed an interest in chit chat and all at the same time.

It's probably not the most easy thing to track accurately. IT doesn't break down if it's those logged in or lurking.
To break down individual users they'd probably use a cookie. What if e.g. someone is browsing with cookies flat isabled, may that just break their system and each request adds a new "guest user" for example.

Or maybe it's just the entire Psychology lecture theatre at a university on their laptops being directed at once to some threads the lecturer found noteworthy. Some people on here are clearly "interesting" to people in that field..!
