Let's talk about the weather...

Allegedly our favourite national topic of conversation...

The reason for this, is that I've been talking with some good people from Delaware USA,  who are stationed here with the USAF.....

They live in the community, rather than on base, and get around for as many experiences as they can, including having just returned  from
a two hour drive to York for "The Viking Festival"...

Of course the weather was cr@p, and why the hell such an event is held in the depths of winter, I cannot fathom!

They don't whine and whinge about anything, but it was, at times, pretty uncomfortable for the lady, at least!

That got me wondering what the climate is like in Delaware, and it's far from wonderful!

Moving on from that, and to find that we don't have it that bad, this is an interesting read.....
