Here's a fact for you:

Downing Street's famous black brickwork wasn't meant to be black.  In the 50s they had a clean up and discovered the bricks were a normal red colour but covered in years' worth of soot.  As the bricks were already famously black by then it was decided to clean them up and then paint them black rather than revert to the intended red colour.

Boris is doing a macron here, got it so wrong.

Firstly if he believes what he is doing he should had first started with scheme to divert people from these so called bad fuels, then put a timeline on it and not done it so quickly.

He is basically attacking people who are poor or live in a remote place with no choice.

Reckon their will be some back pedaling very soon.

Should ban all wood burners. No need for the stinky things mostly used by inconsiderate folk pumping their filthy emissions into neighbours lungs so they can feel cosy.

There a few wood burners around my way.  They're not a problem.  The problem are the bonfires.  They're the ones that fill the area with stinking smoke.  Some people have them on the hottest days in summer without a thought for the fact that pretty much everyone will have windows open.
