Prolonged use can cause damage mentally to minors.

In adults it is proven to be far less so.

All drugs should be legally available and taxed.

People would then know the actual contents.

Unfortunately governments don't want this as then there would be no war(failed

miserably)on drugs and know need for arms, police etc (generally) and all the other

resources that are wasted using tax payers money under the false illusion of

protection.

This would lead to less muggings, snatches, burglaries, violence, racism, county lines.

All that money saved and taxes collected would lead to better education, health,

lifestyle balance, and a happier society.

However more harmony does not make the rich wealthier, the powerful stronger.

Hence they won't allow it to happen, much preferring to keep the shoe leather on the

chest of the working classes, whilst continuing to spouse the party line and feather

the nest.

You'd still have dealers.  They'd sell at a cheaper price as they'd be cutting out the taxman.  Shoes are legal but I recently read about how the Mafia in Naples made a fortune by smuggling them in without paying the taxes and then undercutting the legal shops.  The best option is to take a hard line.  Shoot the dealers and force the users into rehab.  Those who relapse can be shot too.

Every week my local paper has sentencing reports for drug dealers.  It's pathetic.  A recent one offered the excuse that he turned to dealing as his building site labour work dried up over winter.  The judge pitied him and gave him a suspended sentence.  Others get a year or two.  As the voiceover at the start of Porridge says, getting caught is just an occupational hazard.

If i wanted to use Cocaine or whichever i would feel much assured if i knew it was not mixed with toilet cleaner or whatever.

So if it's quality assured and safe, easy to obtain legally i would be happy to pay the extra premium for that.

Also if it is home produced the cost of production will undercut the cartels..

For me it's a no brainer.
