Lucky children,on the doorstep of Gougane Barra,great start to life.

It's a good message Pa and we can lead the way, and a society based on the needs of the people as opposed to the growth of the economy.

Totally agree and think that sentiment was borne out a bit in the general election.

Without going all "Greta" like just reading there Ireland is ranked 5th with child flourishing indicators such as health,education,nutrition, however it is way down the list (154th) with co2 emissions.

I won't be an expert on it at all Peckerdunne,i think things are getting better quite quickly though,the layout of Cork City resembles a smoking pipe,when i was young on a calm winters night you could hardly see from the smoke/smog due to all the fires burning coal/turf,you would be choking. I can imagine if you went back in your time machine and hassled a shawlie about her fierce co2 emissions her answer would be would you want me to die of pneumonia due to the cold.
