A GP has been given three life sentences for 90 sex assaults on female patients.
Manish Shah assaulted 23 women and a 15-year-old girl while working in London - carrying out invasive examinations for his own gratification.
The Old Bailey heard he used Angelina Jolie and Jade Goody as examples to frighten patients about their health.
Judge Anne Molyneux described him as a "master of deception who abused his position of power".
"You made up stories which got into heads and caused panic," she said.
Shah, from Romford, convinced his victims to have unnecessary checks between May 2009 and June 2013.
"Your behaviour was not only sexual but was driven by your desire to control and on occasions humiliate women," the judge said.
The youngest victim told the court she was left "anxious, fearful and shaking" at the prospect of visiting the doctor after being abused by Shah.
She said she felt differently about men and worried about being seen as a "sex object".

They can do this?...it means to get out he has to win 3 appeals I think...against each sentence.
So hopefully we won't see him again free |

One truly sicko medic with depraved sexual behaviour. It seems the nature of this crime is community specific as any sexual crime in the public domain has always revolved around this community ie South Asian eg Uber driver, Primark security guard, industrial grooming of vulnerable young white females up-north by minicab drivers. All these were perpetrated by sickos form the South Asia community.
A lack of respect of females esp white females? Upbringing? Or something else? It cannot be a coincidence. |

The sicko medic will only serve a minimum of 15 years. I hope he rots in jail or have his sentence extended after 15 years imprisonment. He'd be a danger to society.

Would he really be a danger to society? He might be, I've not read the case, but based on the OP all his offences depend on his being a doctor.

Of course it is a vile crime. But one that depends on being a doctor. Take that away and is he (or will he be in 20 years' time when he comes out) a danger to society? I'd have thought we can stop worrying about him and pay more attention to how doctors like him, and the breast surgeon Patterson currently in the news, and even Dr Harold Shipman, can be detected at a far earlier stage. Once you take away their prescription pads, aren't they harmless? Or would they find some other way to play God?

That's the point, @peckerdunne. It was invited, or at least consented to, because he was a doctor.
Ironically, of course, if a non-doctor paid prostitutes to let him examine their fannies, he'd be all right. Is that a thing? Can you pay for that? (Asking for a friend.) |

What'd stop him working as an unregistered medic in the black market or helping out at a surgery (of an associate) post his sentence? The paedo Imams at several Religious Colleges were "supported" by the governors of the colleges despite accusations and/or post convictions. Anyway, post serving his sentence he'll be deported as he was not born here.
