Do people not start to question what sexuality actually means, so many people have come out as being Gay after years of living as straight, possibly having been married and having kids. Is our sexuality set in stone when we are born or does it sometimes change as we get older/evolve?
When i was a youngster everyone appeared to know who the gay people were, sure there were 4 well known around were i lived, now it seems that half the world is Gay. I think it's sad that he's lived a lie for so long especially as he's been in show biz for virtually all his adult life, and many in his circle would have come out years ago. Apparently his wife has been very supportive of him but surely it must affect her psychologically, finding out she's spent her life with someone who prefers men. From a purely sexual point of view i can't see how any homophobic straight bloke can indulge in Anal sex with their partners yet abuse gay men for doing the same, odd imo. |

just think ,of all his interviews over the years regards people coming out,mbeen gay,depression,stress,self harm while pretending to be a straight man. its not been a talking point for 30 years, cake and eat it springs to mind

There's nothing wrong with being gay but you could argue there is plenty wrong with living a lie for nearly 30 years married to a woman. Plenty of "celebrities " are coming forward saying how brave he is, but surely a brave person wouldn't have got married to a woman pretending to be a straight man until they were nearly 60. He seems like a decent guy but utterly obsessed with publishing everything about his life on social media which has gone on for years before this. I'm sure his wife and kids would have preferred him to retain some privacy regarding this instead of titillating the general public over business that should remain between husband and wife.

I thought he might be for some time now. For some reason he behaved and looked different. But, I'd not hold it against him for the impact it has on his immediate family (wife and children), parents and relatives; to be gay is not an illness or a phase - it's something biological and chemicals induced, I believe.
I wish him and his wife and kids well. I've no doubt there's life after this episode; being gay is not a crime, just another way of life. All the best. |

There are much more important and pressing issue in the world eg kids in the war zones to deal with or get our head round. What gay people get up to I'm sure it's ok, and will not inconvenience others - it's just another way of life similar to sharing a place with a vegan or vegetarian or jehovah witness or any other minority group.

He seems like a decent character although I dont know him personally but social media for the most part is fairly vile and I hope he doesnt regret his decision. Up until this stage he has been a fairly non controversial character but the Gordon the Gopher abuse jokes are already doing the rounds no doubt with the broom cupboard now becoming a crime scene. Unless your career literally depends on platforms like twitter/fb I can't understand why anyone would want to be on there with people able to type vile gibberish under the umbrella of anonymity

I requested a quote from the above entity (out f curiosity), and the amount was about 25% less than market price. But, the most annoying bit was this entity repeatedly sent email despite my telling them to stop. Eventually they did after I threatened legal action. |

Btw, his family life, social life and sex life are none of my buisness as I know nothing about any of them, only his 'public persona' which I like.
Start delving into any TV, film, enterainers profile and pretty soon you will a very limited choice of the foregoing. I'm not homophobic, never have been. As for being gay, I wouldn't try it a 3rd time!  for the homourless that last remark was a joke!. |
