Okay you lot, any cheapskate Samsung geeks out there?
We're not talking Galaxys here and it's definitely PAYG.
I'm trying to track down a replacement for my mobile. I've had my mobile for a couple of years and it cost me a fiver, yes a fiver, from an EE shop.
It was a replacement to the one that had given up the ghost. When I showed the the girl my old one she said " I'm sorry sir we don't stock those."
Another shop assistant whispered in her ear " we have some those downstairs ". They found me own and the rest , as they say, is history.
I really don't want to go into a shop and ask.
They obviously don't like displaying these phones, I mean how much profit is there in selling mobile PAYGs for a fiver?
Probably a tenner now.
They're great little phones though and they last forever.
I need to find out the model number so I can google them.
Any serious suggestions welcome.

Do a search on the internet for cheap mobiles
There is plenty at Currys, Argos, and the phone shops...probably other places If you find one you like search for reviews I usually get three paygo as cheapest, but any sim free phone will take a three card I hope you end up with a better phone than mine  |

Regy, if I had a camera I'd post a photo. These little cheapo Samsungs are brilliant. When I google Samsung all I get is galaxy. And yes, my next SIM will be Tesco's.

Found it mate, in so far as I know what model it is now. If you're ever in need of a reliable cheapo dumb mobile checkout the Samsung E1120. Shall prob wait until the one I've got packs up then all I've got to do is find where I can buy one online that's not nailed to any particular network. Shouldn't be a problem. I'm keen to go with Tesco.

I've thought about the Tablet gig but mmm. I don't know. Me and new tech

I sometimes need more information than be shown on a phone screen when out and about
Not easy to find tablets which allow this...but eventually found one. |

I used a dongle with my PC in the past...but seem to have grown a little expensive for me now
