Look, I know Hitler had his detractors, and there are lots of people in the public eye who we might dislike without knowing
them, but how many people in our real lives do we really hate.  Hate is a strong word.

Can't think of any at the moment...

If this is the market without my ex-wife then it brings my total down to just 17.

I read an article about Tony Bennett once who is renowned for not having a bad word to say about anyone. The journalist tried to test him on this and asked Bennett what he thought about Hitler. Tony replied "well, he was the best at what he did".

I honestly do not hate anyone and that includes my ex wife who got a 5 bedroom mansion out of me in Cambridge as a settlement. Lifes too short.

Slippy--reminds me of a Neil Diamond story

Murphey divorced Diamond after 25 years of their wedding citing irreconcilable differences. She walked away with half of Neil's earnings - a whopping $150 million as her divorce settlement. But Neil is not bitter about it and said that "she's worth every penny."

Indeed JML, I know that story. I absolutely love Neil Diamond and I can remember him giving his ex wife half his fortune with no arguments. He actually said, if my memory serves, that she did indeed warrant £75 million bucks and that he had more than enough for himself left over. An absolutely top man is N.D.

Great story, JML.

Might have been different if he she'd had half and it had been £300k.
