There is a real gem on the BBC I Player

Despite imagining that a series about metal detecting would be boring, I decided to give "Detectorists" a try, based on IMDB reviews and I loved it! The humour doesn't make you laugh out loud, but it keeps you smiling throughout and getting to know the characters is a lot of fun. I watched the whole thing in less than a week and am left wishing that there was more to come.

would recommend 'this country' understated gem . still on bbc iplayer. one of main characters ( kirtan ) looks unerringly like gareth keenan from the office.
