1. Why are the Tories considering licence fee changes?

2. Why are the Tories boycotting Radio 4?

3. Why are the lefties whinging so bitterly about points 1 and 2.

I’ll tell you why. Because the BBC has been overrun by lefties and has been nothing more than a PC lefty mouthpiece for years. Those who have been denying that fact are either lying or totally deluded.

For 3 years they were unashamedly pro remain and alienated half their audience. In the real world they would be in a Ratnerish position and rightly so. Do not plss off your customers.

Reading 'The Noble Liar' by Robin Aitken

Very interesting ideas re the long-established liberal mindset within the BBC (especially regarding the reporting of current affairs), why it is there, how it is expressed and how it goes unrecognised by its perpetrators

The Conservative and Unionist Party is left of centre, so it's a leftist party considering licence fee changes and the entire thread falls flat on its nose.

The BBC is riddled with leftists and liberal bias and anti British elements who consider the tories to be ultra right and who are rabidly anti  tory
So the op is correct .

A lot of people make the mistake to assume that right-wing should mean to not be a decent, righteous human being with a high moral standard. That is just plain wrong. Proper conservatism was always the politics of decency, utmost respect and truthfulness. Sadly, there has been a shift. Now the right wing has been hijacked by people with the rotten moral compass of your typical leftist.

The BBC to this day upholds and defends the old right-wing (and centre) standards regarding basic human decency, which the people with a leftist moral compass decry as "PC".

Because they've had great success recently and want to double down until more reporters act like Kuennsberg and uncritically parrot Tory HQ?

Hope all questions this year will be as easy to answer.

I am sorry the BBC can not claim to represent decent , righteous , high moral standards . In the most important question this country had faced in this last three years they have failed the test . And the Labour Party and the liberal party have failed the test
That holy undertaking when the British voted in a democratic referendum , they failed , and are forever damned , don’t look at the behaviour of the BBC , or the Labour Party or the liberals ..that would only make you sad .
But don’t forget what they tried to do .

Only the Tory party , for all their faults , remained true
They alone have passed the ultimate test , it could have destroyed them , they alone were steadfast

I remember when I lived in a flat looking out onto the street below one Sunday morning and noticing a couple of men and a woman walking along and stopping here and there . The men dressed in nice overcoats , retirement age , had the look of ex military perhaps and the woman younger , nice looking . They started at the top of the street and worked their way along . I was looking out as one of the men  came to my block of flats , and I could hear the bussers sound , including mine , and then they carried on down the street . They were checking on the BBC license , I had an idea who they were , something about their appearance , Not sure how many people answered the door :)

Like most news outlets, they are biased towards clickbait. Somehow issues on the left appeal to everyone (either to reaffirm morals or to reaffirm that the world has gone mad). Nobody clicks stories about someone doing ok and getting on with life. If you want them to stop banging on about minority rights then stop clicking the stories is a good start.

Andrew Neil is the current king of creating clickbait with his pointlessly aggressive interview style so i think that helped boris get the hump with them too.

"Guests on bbc - remain 82 percent  - says it all really"

probably because it is hard to find articulate or intelligent people who still think brexit is a good idea LaughLaughLaughLaugh

82%,  did you make up that figure (a.k.a fake news) or do you have a credible source?

QT after the election broadcast a special edition and struggled to get a question from the audience from somebody who had voted Tory .....the night they won the election.

This is a smokescreen from the the lefty seething disgrace that was once the best.

Why did the tories delay brexit for so long ?

after all, they've been in power for 10 years, They've  been at the controls, they could have sorted it sooner if they wanted to.

Cameroony thought brexit was such a great idea, he resigned.

Blaming the lefty morons for the mess the country is in makes about as much sense as blaming the tooth fairy

I came home today, found an 80 year old lady collapsed in the lift.

Phoned an ambulance and they said 2-3 hour wait minimum.

It's all the mad lefties fault, if the tories had been in power for the last 10 years you wouldn't get 80 year old ladies waiting 2-3 hours for an ambulance

escapee - you are entering a debate - don't be so lazy  - go and find out for yourself

I would have thought as someone who is on top of this you would already know the facts

the bbc was horrendously biased over this issue

and so called academics were 3 to 1 in favour of remain  and so it went on

in many 'papers'  evening discussions not only were both guests pro remain they just laughed at brexit along with the presenter

-  not confined to the bbc I might add
By:

of course if you threw in the presenters as well you would have had nearer 90 percent or more

IEA analysis shows systemic bias against ‘Leave’ supporters on flagship BBC political programmes

Of 281 Question Time panellists over the 18 month period, 60% were Remain supporters, 31% Brexit supporters and the remaining 9% ‘Releavers’.

Of 297 Any Questions panellists in the same period, 59% supported remain, 32% supported Brexit, and 10% were ‘Releavers’.

Fake news

Easy to forget most Tory MPs voted for Remain.

The BBC is a left wing organisation making some attempts to uphold it's duty to remain neutral.  Of course it is also even more pro remain.  If you worked at the BBC, not only were you already more likely to be left wing, but you were also more likely to be more articulate and intelligent than the average person, and also more aware of current affairs.  The idiots who claim the BBC is right wing, come from the hostile, socialist workers wing of the party, who are mostly of very low intelligence, with chips on both shoulders.
