Sporting higns and lows of 2019

Lows: watching the World Champs Athletics empty stadiums, no other major sporting event would ever have allowed that, apart from commonwealth games maybe, that's what happens when you take the highest bidder, you take away the atmosphere, sad sight seeing athletes winning gold and doing a lap of honour in front of nobody.
Rugby world cup final, not really a Rugby fan but still watched the tournament, peaked too soon in the semi.

Highs: Andy Murray's comeback winning a tournament, thought he was finished. Lewis Hamilton winning another title 1 away from Schumacher which I never thought I'd see anyone get close to, KJT finally winning major gold. Fury v Wilder, very rare in top level boxing these days we actually get two top boxers in their prime fighting, something Joshua is missing out on. Djokovic winning Wimbledon, whole crowd was on Federer's side.

England Cricket WC win
Semi final rugby WC win Vs NZ
Shane Lowry's Open win

Low:
Losing WC rugby final (I still wonder what if Sinkler didn't get injured..)
I have to agree about VAR

High - Can only be Ben Stokes and his double dose of heroics

Low - The complete and utter capitulation of Arsenal in the Europa League final

High - Semi Final WC win Vs Kiwis

Low - Even before the WC final you knew what was going to happen, but still seething when it actually did

High Cricket WC
Low USA winning the Womens WC and havent to put up with that Rapinoe woman afterwards (and she's still in the news).
