I have seen it acey. thought I would watch part 1 and then go to sleep. No chance, addictive. What a nut job the killer is. The ending of the CCTV in the interview room was incredible in showing how his mind worked!

Watched this about a week ago; what a sick feck, but it does show that with amateur sleuths there can be consequences. Not sure I personally could have contributed to the documentary knowing that my actions cost the life of an innocent victim. Sicko 1 - Amateur Sleuths 1... I wouldn't want their fame.

By:
amazing that they caught him
|
|
By:
so much to unpack in the killer's psyche, the almost cat and mouse chase he set up, diverting them on purpose like he knew he'd be tracked down and almost wanted to be caught, proper weird bloke
|
|
By:
Yep, excellent programme. Brilliant investigative work by the two main ' chasers '

Big respect to the sharp eyed Internet Café owner who recognised the freak as soon as he walked in and waved down the Police.

|
By:
Police still be chasing him now without those internet folk.

By:
Yes, very good documentary.

Good recommendation Acey.
I suppose people are saying the internet group trying to avenge the kittens fed his ego to the point that he went further than he otherwise would have, but no, he was 1.01 to murder someone from way before it started. I liked the internet detectives but the programme perhaps exaggerated their contribution. It seems they never did unmask him as such, they were just given his name by someone weren't they (perhaps by the guy himself ) ? |

The killer was itching to get caught eventually after setting the stage, so he could perform at interview, his final swansong. Fascinating.

The Luke Magnotta story was watched a good few years ago. It was clever of them not to mention his name in the title.
