its so simple to cure.=answer=refreeze the arctic ice caps for 30 years, that should give everyone in the world time to grow trees to get rid of the carbon in the world. The biggest problem is to thaw the scientists arse's that are frozen to their chairs so they can get up of their backsides  and read a book on how simple my idea could be.and it would not be too difficult to refreeze water, but that's the kind of scientists we have today who need a book on how to freeze water.Cry

I've never been in favour of migration from the 3rd world (if that is the correct terminology) to the West. I can understand it. I was also never on favour of invading middle-east countries and interfering with things that didn't really concern us.

Migration means travel from lower carbon economies to high carbon economies.
They seek a high carbon lifestyle. They also want to travel home by plane on a regular basis.
They want all the plastics money can buy. The host countries they now inhabit need new high carbon infrastructure to cope with their new arrivals.

John Stewart Mill, of his own free will, on half a pint of shandy was particularly ill,

Officials at Glacier National Park (GNP) have begun quietly removing and altering signs and government literature which told visitors that the Park’s glaciers were all expected to disappear by either 2020 or 2030.

In recent years the National Park Service prominently featured brochures, signs and films which boldly proclaimed that all glaciers at GNP were melting away rapidly. But now officials at GNP seem to be scrambling to hide or replace their previous hysterical claims while avoiding any notice to the public that the claims were inaccurate. Teams from Lysander Spooner University visiting the Park each September have noted that GNP’s most famous glaciers such as the Grinnell Glacier and the Jackson Glacier appear to have been growing - not shrinking - since about 2010. (The Jackson Glacier—easily seen from the Going-To-The-Sun Highway—may have grown as much as 25% or more over the past decade.)

NO EXPERIMENTAL EVIDENCE FOR THE SIGNIFICANT
ANTHROPOGENIC CLIMATE CHANGE

https://arxiv.org/pdf/1907.00165.pdf

...
Conclusion

We have proven that the GCM-models used in IPCC report AR5 cannot compute
correctly the natural component included in the observed global temperature. The
reason is that the models fail to derive the influences of low cloud cover fraction
on the global temperature. A too small natural component results in a too large
portion for the contribution of the greenhouse gases like carbon dioxide. That is why

IPCC represents the climate sensitivity more than one order of magnitude larger
than our sensitivity 0.24°C. Because the anthropogenic portion in the increased
CO2 is less than 10 %, we have practically no anthropogenic climate change. The
low clouds control mainly the global temperature.

Deep snow drifts, skating along frozen rivers and weeks of sub-zero temperatures used to be normal features of a British winter, but they are rare today. However, in an ironic twist, global warming may help conditions like this to return in the coming decades, by disrupting the Gulf Stream – the warm ocean current responsible for taking the chill off north-west Europe.

The Gulf Stream is part of a larger ocean conveyor belt known as the Atlantic meridional overturning circulation (Amoc), which moves warm water northwards in the upper layers of the Atlantic Ocean, and colder waters southwards at lower depths. Previous research has shown that a slowdown of Amoc appeared to trigger a global cold snap 13,000 years ago. In 2018 scientists revealed that the Gulf Stream was at its weakest in 1,600 years.

By investigating the impact of Greenland meltwater and rainfall on Amoc, researchers found that thankfully there is very little chance of a complete shutdown in the next 1,000 years, but instead they show there is a 15% chance of a temporary shutdown in the next 100 years, which would likely trigger cooler conditions in north-west Europe. But acting fast to limit global warming will reduce the chances of being thrown into a chill.

A whole generation is being indoctrinated with no debate allowed in the classroom.

The evidence for this is school kids (with no advanced degrees in science) going on strike in the name of the climate emergency they have been 'taught'.

Governments constantly need a hidden fear to keep populations in check and paying them to keep them safe. From controlling religion, making up foreign military threats to climate emergencies they will continue with the same playbook.

Global warming is over and it never was anything to do with CO2. CO2 is still rising but the world is now cooling and will continue to do so."[41] In 2009 he attended the International Conference on Climate Change organised by the Heartland Institute.[42]

5:10 ish in Drippins link Corbyn says "and this Autumn and Winter (that's 2019/20 by the way) there's going to be a lot of snow in Britain and Western Europe" and climate change science deniers (I think he meant climate change acceptors) will deny it's going to snow. He said he knows how the climate works and other's don't. Fantastic prediction apart from it was completely wrong. Again.

I have posted many links on this as you well know.

If you want to believe that climate change isn't happening and want confirmation it isn't then by all means listen to banal loonie tubes along with lfc's and moisok's opinions. You all make a fine coherent team.

Of course the climate is changing.

It always has and always will.

Egypt used to grow massive amounts of grain a few thousand years ago. Now those areas are desert.

Greenland and Iceland had long periods where they were not frozen over in the recent past.

This is how 'the scientists' in this field operate..
1. Look at historic data.
2. Fit the data to a theory. e.g. global cooling, global warning, climate change etc.
3. Make a prediction.
When the prediction fails they go back to (1).

Too many 'scientists' have their life work, grants etc tied up in this field for the 'consensus' to change.

Celebs and Royals who have carbon footprints of a small town tell us we must all do more to save the planet.

Most reasonable people understand what is meant by the term climate change for you I'll use Anthropomorphic Climate Change.

Egypt used to grow massive amounts of grain a few thousand years ago. Now those areas are desert.
Don't tell me it's got hotter.

Greenland and Iceland had long periods where they were not frozen over in the recent past.
The recent past being 2-3 million years ago.

A pretty good way to operate. That is the way science proceeds.

Too many 'scientists' have their life work, grants etc tied up in this field for the 'consensus' to change.
Nonsense. That is not how science operates.

Celebs and Royals who have carbon footprints of a small town tell us we must all do more to save the planet.
And the point of this is?

Moisok, that will be a non-contest.

Feminism has already bent over, spread her legs and taken it (no-lube) from Islam
and trans-ism has raised the white flag, and ran away like a terrified poodle, when confronted by the supreme culture.

the new trick to get what you want is to get a little girl controlled by an organisation to destroy other people's jobs and careers - the new nazis at work - if you don't do what we want we will destroy you

make sure you all follow the narrative

Is that since the new millennium ? My scepticism stems from the use of statistics and their manipulation, anyone recall the hockey graph cheats.

Interesting stats Doridoru.

Obviously UK rather than whole planet but still pretty good.
109 years old data - top 11 all since 2002.

Personally prefer the 5 year average graph which is often published as year by year there are pretty large variations.
Basically the science community are worried about a 1 degree rise over next 50 years so "only"0.2 degrees a decade.

Still I'll be dead before the worse effects happen & UK is rich enough &"cold" enough to survive a 1 degree rise.

I do wonder what will happen to UK politics once those born since 1990 are the majority of UK voters - there does seem to be a different opinion on how serious the situation is depending on age. I suspect the majority of posters on this forum are over 40 (but that just a guess - I don't have any data)
