Disgraceful, if true. This country is the biggest joke on the planet.

Nobody deserves a political knighthood more than Farage.

I went to the same school as him, Dulwich College. Most of the teachers hated him because they could not deal with his intelligence and some of them organised a petition given to the headmaster urging him not to make Farage the head boy! He didn't get that gig but he was made a senior prefect. He hasn't changed a bit, he was the same now as when he was at school.

This will go down well at the Blair's household, and Tusk, Barnier, Juncker and Verhofstadt at The EU. I think he's earned it even though I'm not fond of the bloke.

But, the Brexiteers do owe him for it.

Not seething at all mush. It is disappointing, however, when a xenophobic, right wing extremist, multi-millionaire merchant banker is somehow accepted as a man of the people and gets rewarded for bringing the country to it's knees.

All that shows is how difficult it is to get elected if you don't have a major party behind you.
And of course a lack of political knowledge in the comment.

The Tories threw everything at stopping him last time he stood as an MP, that's how much they feared him speaking in the House of Commons.

We still need a new party to change politics and Britain . No point leaving the EU if policies stay the same .
The Labour Party and libdems should never see power again after their treachery .
Report Dr Crippen December 24, 2019 10:31 AM GMT
I agree with workrider, the biggest problem the working classes have with Labour is how readily they're prepared to give council houses away to immigrants and undermine their jobs with cheap imported labour.
Not to mention the public services staggering under the weight of ever increasing numbers.

Whatever the Labour party represents, it's certainly not the working classes.

The EU we joined is not the same EU today so why any UK citizen would still want to be part of it astounds me no end unless it's merely a passport to the other 27 countries. But, reality is very, very few UK citizens work in The EU as opposed to The EU nationals working in The UK. A case of insecurity giving rise to a fear of failure.

Give it up, Ritchie.  Farage is a top bloke and well deserves a knighthood - as they once were.  I would happily support him if he turned one down but he's a proper gentleman and would not be so rude to Her Maj.

Stop blaming everyone but yourself for your problems, imo.  Happy Christmas.
