'Hampstead' was on the other day. Diane Keaton and Brian Gleeson. VERY gentle film - ideal watching after a big meal.
NASA doing a xmas special plotting Santas sleigh ride through the Van Allen belt in the hope they can rediscover the magic for space travel within white world science 
I could say the old joke about a bowl of fruit but with these ultra thins TVs, sorry televisons, its no longer applicable.

Why couldn't the BBC do a Peaky Blinders Christmas special this year?

It must just be me. I only have the Freeview channels and watch about 12 hours TV a week and I don't want to watch any more.

I don't know how they get away with it, isn't their a watchdog for television to stop them ripping off license fee payers?

i suppose it's all down to whether you can be avaialble to watch tv as it comes along .... but even so ,i would find watching the advert breaks would probably turn me into a heroin addict
on christmas day i will probably spend all day watching re-runs of the worlds craziest drivers and maybe a few that have recorded between now and then .... 'car crash tv' as i call it .

An estimated 200,000 elderly people will probably spend xmas alone in the UK, what would you like them to do if they are home alone on xmas day then ?

On Boxing day there is a remake of Worzel Gummage om BBC 1 with Makenzie Crook (Gareth the office) which might be alright. He certainly has the face for it.
