What a plonker? Only a desperate attempt to entice punters into the shop. But, betting shops are a thing of the past. Why bet in a betting shop when one can do so in the comfort of one's home away from unwanted distraction and machine noise?

Bet restriction and closure of recreational accounts are other impediments. What a stupid business strategy? Akin to a former retailer re-inventing itself eg Woolworth.

Machine noise is nothing compared to getting it in the earhole from the trouble and strife.

"whilst also appealing to a new generation of customers."

That's the nutz.

These guys have spent top dollar tapping in to the think tanks that have mapped out the gambling habits of the next generation.

If you were born between 1945 and 1975 then move on cos there's nothing for you here.

Scandalous really. The mobile phone punter will be bombarded with nonsense, albeit nonsense that will ruin their lives Plain

Mobile phone betting is the new crack-cocaine of betting post fobt. It's so impulsive, convenient and addictive the 3 key ingredients of losing regularly.

Responsible gambling measures have also been introduced to the shops, including facial recognition software.

Arbers are going to be need dark glasses, a false moustache and a Huggy Bear-style fedora before long.

This entity has yet to cotton on: Bet365 have the minimalist of shops instead big player online. They are also the best for cash-out, and prices.

Just give the customers what they want ie placing a bet! It's not rocket science, and spare them the gimmick. Which plonker in the company hired the architect (no doubt an outsider with little betting knowledge) of this new concept? Bigger screens and comfortability are not what punters want. The money which could have been better spent on offering bog.
