the concentration on diversity and individual minority and sectional interests has not helped generally outside of london   - one has to consider the whole of the country if you are seeking government and not narrow interests.

If I am correct, then failure to identify the real reasons behind such a decline would inevitably lead to similar problems for the Labour Party at the next election as well.
