oh well thats game over if your hairdresser has spoken.
They were 1.46 for a majority when I looked yesterday, Mr C. They have drifted a bit as you say, sir, but not by that much... yet.
People with Hair imo, i haven't been for years!
No stewart,men go to barbers, if i ever said to anyone,oh,i'm off to the hairdressers,i would get odd looks,or even a smile and a wink.

Oh, they shouldn't be allowed,women hair cutters try and "style" it into their interpration of what looks ok,where as the man haircutter gives you what you ask for.
'Barber' is to do with beards, clue's in the name. Today I had my hair cut so it's 'hairdresser'. Luckily I'm very happy with the size of my chap so I don't have to worry about what words I use.
There's one recently opened nearby and the staff are dressed like they're in Saville Row. Needless to say it's f00kin' expensive.

hairdressers just the modern term ... nothing we should lose sleep over
of course. I don't have a problem with metro sexual people who use hairdresser's

but I am a little confued so when you go to the old tonsor do you have your hair " dressed " or " cut "?
just had a look at local business terms and they list mens hairdressers and barbers ...so i suppose you can take your pick really.
some list themselves as a barbers and go the whole hog ...red pole,brylcream etc .

Red pole and brylcreme, I used to pay good money on a Fri night down in SOHO for that.
