One of the country's biggest "car chop shops" has been stopped following the sentencing of the gang behind it.
Amaan Zameer, Nadeem Arshad, Zahir Hussain and Mohammed Nadeem conspired together to steal more than a hundred cars from across the West Midlands, with a total value of more than a million pounds.
The group bought wrote-off cars from salvage yards and fixed them up using parts from the stolen cars. The new, potentially unsafe vehicles, would then be sold on to unknowing buyers online.
The four men have been given prison sentences of between four and a half and seven years for their rolls in a car theft operation.
The court heard how the gang handled parts from 117 stolen vehicles across the Midlands and operated in 4 illegal garages in Birmingham.
The police discovered the chop shop after a man from Derby tracked his stolen car all the way to the gang's premises in Sparkhill in Birmingham.
Dash cam footage from West Midlands police showed officers entering the yard, where two of the men attempted to run away.
Detective Inspector Whitehouse said: "For each of those 117 vehicles there's 117 victims.
"Some of those vehicles have been stolen from the street. Some of them have been stolen in burglaries where offenders have entered people's houses and stolen their keys and then stolen their vehicles.
"And other vehicles have been stolen using violence and robberies and car jackings."
Police say that car thefts have doubled in the last 4 years. They believe this rise has been fueled by an increase in chop shops, where a number of cars are targeted simply because they match a write-off that needs fixing up.
West Midlands Police are now calling on the government for tighter regulation around how people buy vehicles from salvage yards.
I remember a few years ago my milkman was having a cup of tea with me and told me that one of the companys Trucks had been stolen off the round with a full load of milk on it, truck had a tracker fitted, police traced it to an Asian dairy in West Bromwich, being cut up for spares! His company didn't get the milk back either!

That means they'll all be out to do it again in between two to three and a half years. No wonder crime is worth the risk these days. Prison is little more than an occupational hazard. |

Another despicable behaviour from some of the main ethnic minority group ie they seem to have a hand in every dodgy business going in The UK eg defrauding the benefit office; defrauding tfl; defrauding postal votes; narcotics smuggling and dealing; grooming and sexual offences against vulnerable young white females; etc.
Let's hope they are deported post serving sentences, if not born here; these quick buck merchants cannot be allowed to defraud unsuspecting public in this dangerous manner. I also hope the authorities apply the Proceeds of Crime Act from these convicted criminals. |

The scary thing is it's not confined to the uneducated, but medics too. But, always two common denominators ie either sexual gratification or money.

A man who was on the run for 18 years has pleaded guilty to a so-called honour killing. Tabraz Mohammed, 39, has admitted murdering Soheil Mumtaz, 24, on 4 April 2001. Mr Mumtaz was repeatedly hit over the head with a hammer on Kenilworth Road, Luton, over the defendant's sister. Oh yes. They represented a small percentage in these two countries yet they held economic (thus political) power thro' greasing the palms of the corrupt locals; Fiji could be next - a similar scenario at present.
However, they cannot compete in South East Asia and Far Eastern countries like China, Singapore, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Hong Kong even Australia and New Zealand - only very limited over-aged dependants (dissuaded) allowed in. And, no bleating about discrimination or Islamophobia there either - they know their place and the locals are no-pushover. I believe The UK have been too soft; we give them an inch, they take a mile - a concession turning into an advantage. |

I'm sorry but, they have as much honour as honour amongst thieves; whey they have been found out they'd unashamedly beg for mercy or choose to "go back home" even if they were born here to escape judgement day.
I understand they are industrious, but they are also the fiddlers of our benefit system; break nearly all the laws going; lower our standard and values for their own benefits; moan and bleat about discrimination when they are the main offenders - other ethnic groups do not. |

Three more men convicted of sexual assault of a 12 year old girl, two of whom are named 'M*hamm*d'. Bit of a coincidence that this particular name keeps coming up disproportionately amongst convicted sex offenders. The odds of that happening must be staggering. Has anyone at the Home Office investigated this? Surely an opportunity here for Shadow Home Office Secretary Diane Abbott to get stuck into? Sickos like the above must be physically or chemically castrated to prevent the female public from being victims of their heinous sexual crimes. Also, I think finger-printing is an absolute must for every person charged/convicted for a crime. It ought to be introduced compulsorily at the Polling Station to deter election fraud too; driving licences too.
I'm afraid there's no other way to deter anyone hell-bent on committing a crime for gain or otherwise. |

The entire West Yorkshire Police force should be the subject of an immediate root and branch public enquiry. A story of colossal failure for years, and worse still, with this latest case there is the spectre of something far more sinister. Whatever the case, it hardly gives the impression of being fit for purpose.
Why hasn't Shadow Home Secretary Diane Abbott been raging about the staggering level of sick crimes in this region? An open goal, even for a striker with two left feet. Little wonder this police service won this highly non-coveted "honour" in 2018. They should have been hanging their heads in shame.
