What a superb role she played in this drama last night portraying an old woman with dementia, terrific performance and a very good drama. Having witnessed my pals slow descent into Dementia over the past 13 years and his funeral last Monday, and having known quite a few people with dementia have to say she absolutely nailed this role, a wonderful performance by her. Did wonder what had happened to the quite pretty actress i remember seeing in "A Touch of Class", with George Segal in the early 70s, a funny romantic comedy, she was great in that as well, pretty with a very nice body and great breasts, seemed sad to see her in this with probably little make up as she's 83 now. Pity she went into politics imo but a woman with principles no doubt.
Great acting and deserve awards but as she has dementia I very much don't think for a moment she would have known it was 2019 when thinking of the house key code, maybe the script writing couldn't work another way around that scene?

It may have been poetic licence, but one of the frustrating things about caring for someone with the illness is that on occasions there can be lucidity among the general mist.
