My sister has a 4yr old daughter and she got her a hamster in the summer. They would let it roam around living room and would always go back to its cage. Around 5 or 6 weeks ago it went awol and was presumed to have wondered and squished by a car or eaten by a cat.
We were watching TV last night and suddenly my niece expleted "Harley!". The wee b@stard was sitting preening himself on the living room rug.
How did he survive in the interim I would love to know. Maybe he just tried out the big bad world and decided it was not for him and returned home.

At work, but update, Harley is well and healthy, he is being kepped caged for a day by niece until school at 2pm
