Got rid of the highly popular "Sound of the 60"s",there must of been many who would have loved to have filled Brian"s shoes but instead we are other show with people talking b0llocks to help the BBC/Elites agenda.Hopefully millions now listen to Heart instead-what a friggin choice

Sounds of the 60s is on Saturday morning isn't it with Tony Blackburn.
|
|
By:
Yup but its a water down bog standard effect to keep the plebs happy but fails miserably simply because its just like any other 60"s show, where as the show I spoke about was everything that Blackburn token isn't. That's why they stick it on 6AM because no f ucker will be listening whereas Brians show has millions of Avids me included-bloody BBC!

Can't blame the BBC for his ill health and passing can you?
I like Tony Blackburn, yes he's a different kettle of fish to BM but like his awful jokes and always seems happy and alive. Replacing Wogan with the awful Chris Evans was a much bigger gaff imo. |
|
By:
I hate Evans and replacing him with someone more awful seemed inconceivable, but they managed it. The beeb is almost finnish.
|
|
By:
Problem is they confuse enthusiasm & sycophancy for talent,at that time in the morning Zoe ball is a turn off (as was Evans)

Stew, rare songs some great not heard before,b-sides,3 in a row,the a2z of the Beatles, all the hits as well. Areal trip back to the 6o"s lovingly presented. I like Tony but his show is just like any other 60s show.
Brain did the show for over 25 years and although he had been ill for a while,he has informed the Beeb he was fit to return to his highly successful show, they had other plans. I know he was very unhappy about the shoddy way he was treated and he died soon afterwards knowing the show had been taking off the air even though it was as popular as ever. |

Don’t know what the salary figures are but ball probably gets paid a shed load more than ken Bruce
