Taxi for Channel 4?

Can't blame Boris for not going on when C4's lead anchor sings 'Fück the Tories' and a newswoman "empty chairs" James Cleverly when he was never booked in the first place and had an appointment elsewhere.  And why have a 'debate' solely on 'global warming/climate change'?  If you're going to debate a single issue then surely knife crime or grooming gangs are more pressing issues.

No debate the coonts were agreeing just how virtuous they are.

I didn't even realise it was on until the News this morning. Not watched much of Channel 4 since they cancelled Brookside.

It's 10 years since Climategate, when hacked emails revealed that climate scientists in East Anglia were knowingly fiddling the figures in order to show that global warming was happening.  Maybe we could have a debate on the trustworthiness of climate data.

There was no debate on Channel Four last night.

It was an agreement exercise amongst people who have closed their minds on the issue at hand in order to get 'onside' with a 16 year old with a mental health disorder, and who are not candidates for PM, (three of whom are not even candidates for Parliament), on a barely watched TV channel

The measures outlined would have next to zero impact, taken on global terms.

Under the circumstances, the appearance of Boris Johnson (n.b. other government ministers were offered but refused by C4) would have as much relevance as Adrian Chiles washing his c0ck
