All a bit odd. Stape if he was still with us would only be 41. Jade appears to be in her mid-20s so he was lucky to get into teaching at all if he was producing children himself at such a young age.

I could be wrong but wasn't Stape presumed to have fallen off a building but without a body being recovered?

I'm guessing that photo doesn't show the huge pile of books on Etruscan Architecture she took on holiday with her?

Thanks for the link, Alun. I must have missed that episode but the storyline rings a bell.

Didn't Rosemary have a highly intelligent mentor, a lady named Elizabeth McDonald ?

I seem to recall seeing a photograph of her on here a few years ago, possibly going about her work as a lecturer.

I can see how she got the part - she does look a lot like Stape.

Can anyone remember the last planned pregnancy in the programme? (Another unplanned one revealed next week.)

Very pleased to see that photograph re-emerge of Professor Elizabeth McDonald during one of her well-attended lectures, despite the rather spartan conditions of the lecture theatre.

No doubt all a result of the "Savage Tory Cuts" TM.
