My house is like an oven.

When it gets too warm I open the door to let the heat escape.

I also leave the heating on all night. There's nothing worse than getting up to a cold house in the morning.

My daughter has one but i dont know the name of it, she controls it one the way home from work etc and thinks it is great.

I wired her house but i got her to get someone to install the smart thermostat. I dont think it cost much to be fitted.

coal bunkers coal and railway sleepers as kindling!!!

yes all railway family and families around

apart from being bathed in the sink as a younker
or in front of the fire  ---  my  grandmother used to cook jacket spuds in the ashes (not mine by the way!!)
