I imagine it dries your mouth.  My hygienist said to stop using mouth wash.  Unless you have a specific reason, e.g. an ulcer, there's no need to use it, despite what the adverts say.  I stopped and my breath improved.

The level of your posts look like you normally post just before you fall over.

Surely it depends on whether you fall on your back or on your face. Perhaps the best way to counteract this is to wear a gum shield.

Yes, it is, lfc - even in alcohol based mouthwash.  It's a carcinogen too.

https://www.exceptionaldentistryca.com/mouthwash-with-alcohol-vs-without-which-really-is-better/
.
Even though the amount of alcohol in mouthwash is small, it can cause harm to the soft tissues in your mouth. It is also important to note that alcohol is a drying agent. Because of this, using mouthwash with alcohol can cause the amount of saliva being produced to be reduced or even eliminated (aka dry mouth).

Our mouths need saliva to flush out bacteria and to stay fresh, simply meaning that the lack of saliva production can cause bad breath and cavities.
