After watching Sky News, Natalie Bennett (an Australian who is a former leader of the UK Green Party) was introduced as Baroness Bennett. Apparently she became a member of the House of Lords in October this year. How on earth has this happened? She is absolutely hopeless and would give Diane Abbott a run for her money on the maths front.
Her political record so far is as follows:
2006: stood in the Camden Council election in the Regent's Park ward - result, not elected 2010: stood again in the Camden Council election in the Somers Town ward - result, not elected 2010: General Election, Holborn and St Pancras seat. She came fourth with 2.7% of the vote. 2012: stood in the London Assembly elections. She came fourth. 2015: General Election, Holborn and St Pancras seat. She came third with 12.8% of the vote. 2017: General Election, Sheffield Central seat. She came third with 8% of the vote. In the 2015 election the Greens had finished 2nd with 15.8% of the vote.
Surely a great advert for scrapping the House of Lords.
She has also voiced support for polygamy and polyamorous relationships. In February 2015, an interview with Bennett regarding the funding of house-building on the talk radio station LBC was described by her as "absolutely excruciating". In a halting interview on LBC in which she struggled to explain how her party would pay for 500,000 new council homes it is pledging to build. She told Nick Ferrari the policy would cost £2.7bn, prompting the presenter to ask: “Five hundred thousand homes – £2.7bn? What are they made of – plywood?”
More Gordon Bennett than Natalie Bennett.

She really is/was the thickest person to have ever been leader of a political party. She was away with the fairies most of the time ;her interviews were something else.

I believe May gave her the title when she left Number 10.https://www.express.co.uk/news/politics/1175937/theresa-mays-honours-list-knighthoods-theresa-may-resignation-honours-list
