I bet I do, Vinegar tends to go very potent after a while

Been putting it on my genital warts as well and they've come off a treat

Happy

I thought that too delta.

I might try this when I get home, away in Sofia at the moment but I have now acquired a rash on my feet. Maybe from too much walking or from m hotel who knows.

Ibra

It totally works for me

Cleared it up in 3 days, and I'd had the dry skin for 12 months and used all kinds of different creams

Not saying it'll work for you but give it a try just make sure to look out for reactions

Makes me wonder though, we put this stuff on our chips, and if it does that to skin infections...

Its 5% acidic apparently

Must burn away at the stomach lining Sad

Compared to stomach (gastric) acid it's spring water.

Yeah but it might not work as good as chippy vinegar, don't mind walking round like a chip van LaughLaugh

Cider vinegar is a good mouthwash imo, certainly gets rid of bad breath.

I have dry skin all the time, strangely their is always an answer that you might not think of, Cheers SS.

Stomach acid, sometimes called gastric acid, is made up of potassium chloride, sodium chloride, and hydrochloric acid. Exactly how strong is stomach acid? Well, acids are measured on a scale known as the pH scale. The pH scale goes from 0 to 14. 0 is the most acidic, 7 is neutral, and 14 is the least acidic.

With such powerful acid in our stomachs, what stops it from eating a hole right through us? You can thank your stomach’s epithelial cells for protecting you. These specialized cells produce a solution of mucus and bicarbonate that coats the inside of the stomach.

The bicarbonate is a base that neutralizes stomach acid. The mucus made by the epithelial cells also forms a barrier on the walls of the stomach. That protects your stomach lining from the acid.

This is scary, Shocked....The pH of stomach acid usually ranges from 1 to 3. At its strongest, the pH of stomach acid just below that of battery acid! That’s why it’s able to eat through the food in your stomach pretty quickly.  Fecken hell, LaughLaughLaugh

SS I remember my grandmother using malt vinegar for many skin problems,
By:

The thing is I only bothered to try it because I've been using it for coleslaws for years, I had a coleslaw last week and thought lets try it on this s***

The dead skin started softening and the redness became lighter within 12 hours Crazy

As I said it might not work for everyone so be careful. One of the creams I used was a "given" according to my mate, it dried it up more and made it crack and bleed as well CryLaugh

I'm assuming it would have cleared my acne up as well, amazing really, something that was in the cupboard just sitting there could have saved me a lot of teenage angst Laugh

There was a cleaner at work who had bad warts on her hands, I told her to dab Malt vinegar on them every time she remembered, 2 weeks later completely gone!.
By:
SontaranStratagem
When: 13 Nov 19 21:44
Yeah warts are the worst

Must be something in the vinegar that kills germs but because its low acidic doesn't burn the skin

Only downside is you smell like a chippy if used when you're out. Laugh

Yes SS maybe that's why it takes quite a few applications for the acetic acid to work?

I work with battery acid on a weekly bases, it melts spanners, overalls and boots. Vinegar doesn't do that.
