Heard about this several days ago,  but hard to relate to the scale of it till reading such as ".a front of 67 kms"!

Just heard from my daughter, that her partner's parents are trapped on a caravan park, and her aunt has been evacuated...

Meantime we have massive flooding and, no doubt we will be told it's all down to (don't want to say the words) good ol' GW!!!

This is part of a conversation with my daughter....
We were begging them to leave.
It was beyond frustrating, but Rick's auntie who is a detective, called them and said she had more information,
and basically they might be gonners if they didn't shift!
God knows what was going through their minds!
They said that the camp manager was keeping a lookout, like he can fight off a fire of this
size on his own!!!

"We care about your security"

That's why we want to have a good grope around your computer, by chucking a load of cookies at it, to see what you are up to!

Example...Daily Mail re bush fires....

"DMG Media and its partners use cookies and other technologies to collect user data  from your device, so that:
We can deliver content and advertising that's relevant to you
We give you the best experience"...

Do you guys accept all such "willy nilly" by clicking "Got It" or do you decline, so not able to read the articles?

I'm a decliner, until someone tells me there's nothing to be concerned about!

It is irritating and I wish it wasn't there. But I still press OK or accept(Not doing so asks me to make further choices or blocks me out completely.).

The reason I press OK is 1. to save time and 2. there's no guarantee that even after pressing decline they still aren't collecting data.

Reminds me of the Google case. The court asked them how come they had data on the location of a person even after he had switched off location tracking in settings. Google said when he installed the weather app he gave us the permission to collect his exact position coordinates, without which we can't deliver the weather for his location.

So good luck blocking out those websites.
