They dress it up as though it was a nice cosy relationship between two consenting employees and as it was against they employee terms and conditions, he had to go.
You dont sack a succesful CEO just for nobbing a member of staff. Theres a big story behind this PR nonsense...and i'm sure it will come out eventually

If shagging a co-worker was a sacking offence in this country, our GDP would be close to zero.

Perhaps we should just ban  heterosexual relations between men and women

In future only gay and lesbian relations are legal.

We will have to make babies in a test tube

I can see sexual relations between men and women is totally shocking and unacceptable

We need to ban it

I do not approve of men either physically or sexually abusing women myself

and HAVE NEVER INDULGED IN THIS MYSELF OR EVER INTEND TO

but because women now seem to think consensual sex is illegal between men and women(I am guilty of thatBlush)

I am afraid it has to go...oh well, nice while it lastedSad

The irony has to be that if a poll was conducted a significant percentage of married couple would say they ha met each other while they were working at the same place. Before too long it may become mandatory to meet up via dating websites where we can all be monitored by the state to ensure compliance with gender, race and #metoo rules.

If it was against company policy, have they both been sacked?
Report casemoney November 4, 2019 5:42 PM GMT
Steve Easterbrook said he was stepping down in an email to staff, in which he admitted that he had violated company policy.

“Given the values of the company, I agree with the board that it is time for me to move on,” he wrote.

Details of his separation package will be released later this week in a federal filing, according to a company spokesperson.

In other words he has Got the Lot Laugh

No sexual fraternising with female colleagues a big corps is very common for good reasons eg sexual discrimination, nepotism, etc - a conflict of interests. However, I think it's just a matter of time he's snapped up by a competitor with even a bigger remuneration package; the bloke knows the industry inside out.
Report detraveller November 5, 2019 4:08 PM GMT
Was on Walmart's board of directors too. Obviously the guy is worth a lot, and a sexual encounter doesn't change that. But I don't know how important a new job or a new pay package is when you are already playing in millions. Those guys are in a different league.

And he started at the bottom, I believe, as a store manager or lower, did he not? If so, he deserves his handsome rewards. I agree, a different world; salary denotes corporate hierarchy and industry standing - the Ronaldo of flipping burgers.

When I was young men saw women as suitable for sex.....as nature intended I believe

Nowadays men must see women in all ways except sex...

Of course one does not approve of rape, sexual abuse or paedophilia...I agree with that.

I think men need to stop listening to women myself

No I am not   I do not expect women to be covered from head to foot, I do not approve of fgm or women being married
off at seven.

What I am asking that women return to their normal role

A housewife, having babied, raiding the kid, supporting their husband, doing the shopping , doing the cooking
keeping the house clean, etc....I could go on.

I do not want them competing with them

I want a demarcation line between men and women

Where we are heading now is going to have some very results, do not leave men with VIOLENCE only.

just my opinion, nobody has to agree
